Re: Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI)

Anyone recently applied at VFS - Belfast? Do they take your UK passport along with the application? I have a travel next day coming up, and would like to take only the UK passport with me back. Do they accommodate the request? No they don’t take UK passport, they will check and return it. They will...

Re: Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI)

Hi I have submitted application for my son, 4 months, and daughter, 4 years, on 10th Nov. It’s been a week and I have still not received any acknowledgment email. Do HCI delay in sending acknowledgment email? I am getting worried as I have booked my flight ticket to go to India for 13th Jan. Thanks

Re: Varying Tier 2 dependent extension to ILR

Thanks for clarifying again. I understand that for extension visa (Minimum 3 years period) and hence 3 years IHS...

Re: Tier 2 (G) to ILR Documents Check

 I could have been eligible for ILR with £3k pay rise this year which was in line with last 4 years pay rise. I got pay rise of £6k because of my rating of 5. This pay rise should not look artificial plus I have got one more year left on my current leave. It is not like that my pay been incre...

 I can not really answer how HO will deal with this pay rise. All I can say is that this is a HUGE jump which may raise a red flag. Re: Tier 2 (G) to ILR Documents Check

As the salary threshold is £35800 and you did not meet it before the annual pay rise, I think it will definitely raise a red flag even if you apply now or later. I understand that it will raise question but increment was genuine, Many people would have had applied for ILR after increment which are ...

It was £34k prior to pay rise https://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/salary-increase-for-ilr-under-tier-2-general-t237783.html Thanks CULLINAN I have prepared below letter to be signed by HR Letter of Employmen...
