It will be 5 months of wait soon... It's tough...

Is there anyone who started the application in 2020 and are still waiting?

My expiry date is in July 2021 and it's been 4 months of wait.

Re: change brc issued under eea to eu settlement

Hi all, could anyone advise please - my wife applied to exchange her RC to an EUSS card back in November I believe (biometrics done around that time). We’ve heard nothing since. Anyone in a similar position? She has tried contacting the HO, but they don’t seem to have a clue about what’s being aske...

Re: Surinder Singh Settled Status Paper Application:

Yes, I believe this is what happened when I asked the passport: they accepted I was British By descent, despite the 4 years gap between my birth and their marriage. I was explaining this to show why it was not obvious to me at that time that I was already dual national. I could have sponsored her on...

Re: Surinder Singh Settled Status Paper Application:

Thanks again for taking the time to read my previous post and answer to it. > Have you (or your parents) really never considered that you are likely a dual national, being born to a British father? I did wonder when I was younger but my parents told me that when they took information when I was a ch...

Re: Surinder Singh Settled Status Paper Application:

Here is the trick that they are doing to us: I was considered as an EU citizen when we applied for her EU card, but in 2018, they recognise me as a British citizen from my birth. So they told me I would be see...

Re: Surinder Singh Settled Status Paper Application:

Hello I have contacted the home office, and they suggested we should ask the paper form for Surinder Singh Settled Status. We have a big doubt, and it seems quite hard to find a definitive answer. Here is our situation: I am a French citizen (born and raised there). I came to the UK in 2015. I met m...
