Employer change after receiving ILR

Hi

I just wanted to ask - how soon after getting ILR (under current employer) are we allowed to then switch to a new employer? Basically same job but different employer.
Thanks!

Re: SOC CODE Letter from Employer

No, the strange thing is, there's hundreds of us on Tier 2 working for them and they said they have never supplied such a document before. I will see tomorrow as I am gonna go to their office and will not leave until they give me the letter. This has taken me nearly 6 weeks asking for this document ...

Re: SOC CODE Letter from Employer

HI srsw I have already done that and explained both to my manager and our HR how important this document is. I am personally going to our HR office tomorrow (as they have not been very good in replying to my emails + there was a lack of support from them) and will literally cry in front of them unti...

Re: Using expired IELTS - please advice

You can upload your documents anytime before your appointment. The normal appointments are running at a 28 days lag these days. So if you book tonight, you are looking at 18 Dec, unless you are lucky and there is an earlier cancellation of appointment which you may get. You can upload anytime befor...

Re: SOC CODE Letter from Employer

Hi srsw

Thanks for replying. I have requested for the document from my HR department as my manager would not sign it as she does not have any idea about my sponsorship details, SOC code etc so she said it should be the HR's job to provide the letter for me

Re: SOC CODE Letter from Employer

Thanks CR001. I just asked because it is one of the supporting documents required in my application which says: 1. A document from the sponsor who issued the certificate of sponsorship that led to your last permission to stay as a Tier 2 migrant confirming that you are: a. still required for the emp...

SOC CODE Letter from Employer

Hi! Has anyone here had a successful application (or have an ongoing application) for ILR Tier 2 without a SOC CODE letter from their employer (because they won't provide it for some reason)? Did you have to do an alternative letter or cover letter for this? As my employer still would not provide me...

Tier 2 to ILR route letter of absences (exceeding 30 days for 1 absence)

Hi I hope you can help me with this. I have a query regarding the letter of absences document required for the ILR (Tier 2) application. I would just like to clarify if I'd need a cover letter to explain an absence exceeding more than 30 days? For example, my total days of continuous absence from th...
