Re: UKM application experience and timeline

Hello all, here’s an update from my earlier post including a timeline for both citizenship and passport application processes. Earlier this month I received my British passport! :D That process took 59 days from application to receipt – approximately 2 months. Prior to that, for the citizenship port...

Re: UKM application experience and timeline

Great news! I received no email notification, just the small packet in the mail. Here is my timeline - 186 ...

Re: UKM application experience and timeline

When I had my appointment, the person up front checking people in didn't know the difference between visa and naturalization. The person actually doing the biometrics knew there was a difference, though. They have to log into a completely different system for naturalizations than they do for a visa...

Re: UKM application experience and timeline

Hey BostonBrit, have you received your biometrics appointment yet? You got your email about your availability around the same time as me so I am just wondering if you've gotten any updates. I am considering sending a follow up email, but I worry about it resulting in a later appointment like what h...

Re: UKM application experience and timeline

So I would assume the "letter confirming your appointment" will come via email, but I don't know. Now I'm wondering whether I should be looking in my USPS mailbox, or checking my email inbox carefully (including my junk folder), likewise in both cases each day for a month or so hoping I d...
