My sister came in UK 2003.by then she was under 18. the HO refused her case in 2004.she was in collage by then but after the refusal she had to stop her education. and she has not received any ...

i got the convictions before the ILR but after the actual application. i.e. while i was waiting for my ilr, i got convicted of the 2 offences.. When you applied for ILR did you inform them you were awaitng a court proceeding, sounds like you did not. I would wait the two years clear period and then...

Im in pretty much the same situation as ''uninsured''..(no licence+no insurance). Its been over a year (not 2 years though) since the 'conviction' and ive had ilr>1year i.e. i qualify for naturalisation...is it worth applying? Do the five years count from the day you arrive in the UK or from the day you started work with the company specified on the work permit.

Home Office caseworkers and Immigration Officers, as Victoria said, don't have DIRECT access to the PNC but they certainly have authorisation to request information held on an individual on the PNC. Do they really carry out checks for ILR

Do the case workers really carry out criminal conviction checks for ILR or is it randomly done from person to person? From reading other peoples experiences they received ILR within a few hours so how are the case workers expected to check everything, eg, taxes, paye, credit checks, absences, employ...
