Finally the wait is over... Got my EC stamped passport today...

Today called BHC to check the status... I really got surprised when the guy at the other end told me that they are wiating for Integra reports... coz 2 weeks back when I had called them up they had told me that they have received the report...

anyone has any idea what this really means???

it is really sad to see how BHC is working here in india... do we really need to push so hard to get our applications processed? or is it totally different at their end? seeing so many approvals even though many other applications are still in the queue... god only knows whats really happening... fe...

I have been calling/mailing them every three days once... but no use... I get the same reply... will try to call them again tomorrow... I dont understand one thing here... how come few people are getting results within 24 days... no idea what is the reason for delay in processing our applications......

hsmp_1476, I am also waiting... have crossed 24 day time frame which I thot is maintained by BHC... but looks like my case is similar to some of the cases in Dec Ec thread.. lets wait and see... I think there is one more guy in Jan applicants applied on 2nd and still waiting... its Achtung I think.....

I dont think the date of travel will make any difference as sometimes they only say that not to make any arrangements for travel till the result...

I think I also have entered the waiting list now as I have crossed 24 days timeframe... need to see how long it takes...

akira, I think first bangalore VFS will send applciation to the chennai VFS... and then the chennai VFS might submit all the applications received in a particular day from Hyd, Bang and Chnai to BHC on next working day... so from bang to chn it might have reached on monday (14th) .. and then to BHC ...

I too agree with reincarnation... take example of lion... at times when EC was getting approved within 14-15 days, lion had to wait for 27 days... and now EC is taking 24 days means the delay can go upto a maximum of 35 days... just my analysis... so dont worry "sabr ka phal hamesha meetha hota...

Why dont u ask the courier service to not todeliver the package and return it to the sender... I think it is possible (even though they charge for it) as long as its not been delivered yet...

I think the Dec and Jan EC thread names should be renamed... something like "All those who applied during BHC holiday season"... will give lot info to the new visitors :)

Looking at the pace VFS is updating the status I think today we will not see any results... :(... May be by tomorrow thru online status or courier guy...

You can use booking.com also... most of the online reservations dont charge anything, but they ask for your credit card details...

Hi Prashanth, I really dont know whether it is very much required to inform them or not. But since we provide the hotel details to the BHC (in application) and also the proof of reservation I am thinking that any change in that should be communicated to the BHC with the new reservation proof. Anyone...
