Is there any update on this? I am confused too. I previously applied for visa renewal of my husband under PBS dependant but I am confised now if I should use the skilled worker dependant application form. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Tier 2 dependent visa expiring in 4 months, can I leave the country due to emergency

Hello, my husband’s visa is expiring on Feb 2024 however we needed to go abroad due to emergency, her mom passed away today. Will he be allowed to come back to UK in 3 weeks time? His visa will expire feb 2024. Thanks

Under the new rules , it seems that dependants may require zero or reduced maintenance funds for a shorter period of 28 days. If satisfied, then there may be no need to switch to FLR(M); thereby preserving the dependant’s qualifying period for ILR , subject to the continuous residence requirements,...

He has been here for 1 yr and 4 mos under tier 2 pbs dependant visa. I got him when i was Still under Tier 2 general visa and now i am ILR. I am confised coz one of the forms there under tier 2 pbs dependant extension asks for £630 90 days requirement maintenance fund...

We don’t have funds outside uk that was untouch for 90 say period :-(

But our salary is enough for the financial requirements in flr(m) route..
