As Ramesh says above, the 1 month requirement is only for maintenance funds and not for proof of earnings. As long as your pay-slips are dated in such a manner as to show your earnings for a 12 month period within the last 15 months, you should not experience a problem on this score.

Dress code won't be an issue (unless you're planning on turning up in your birthday suit or something similar)! Just be aware that you'll need to go through security on the day, so excessive jewelery metal belt buckles, etc., might just delay your progress through security by a few minutes or so. Yo...

Manish, with the greatest respect, your comment about state schools is somewhat misleading. I agree that there are some significant problems with state schools, but not every state school is as bad as you describe. Outside of the big cities and particularly London), most state schools don't come equ...

@chetan - mistakes are completely understandable. However, I don't see why I should have to pay for a new application fee and have a refusal stamped into my passport if the ECO/ECM errs. @dr - good question. Firstly facial discrimination does not necessarily mean race, it could be nationality or ot...

The point of this forum is to share the knowledge and experience. Nobody claims here to be perfect. The idea here is to let people-in-need know that they are not alone and, if possible, provide some usefull pointers in the right direction. You can get professional advice and pay huge amount of mone...

Re: HSMP ext to Tier 1 General - advise req in application f

If we are going to adopt a truly pedantic view about spelling and the such, then surely it should be grammar and not grammer? :) You are living in UK, write proper English, without spelling and grammer mistakes buddy, atleast verify with spell checker before post. Regarding your questions, just foll...

Either the wage-slips or the letter from the employer would be fine. Sending them both is a bit of overkill, but I can understand the natural anxiety of not wanting to provide insufficient evidence. Do make sure that the information provided in the letter ties in with the rest of the evidence so as ...

If you mean the last bank statement as evidence for maintenance funds, then it must be dtated within a month of the date of application. I would get legal advice on this one. The letter of the law, as far as I'm aware, would insist that new evidence must not be submitted. However, there are frequent case-reports on this site of people submitting additional evidence and getting away with it, so there may be a valid legal precedent to ...
