EEA Family Permit Visa Outside Timeframe

Greetings, A failed EEA Family visa which was rejected in October 2020. I wish to re-apply for my in-laws to join me in the UK. I hold a Dutch passport with indefinite leave to remain and Settled Status. My wife has pre-settled and a Iraqi passport. On the website it says you cannot apply after the ...

EEA Family Visa 4 months now

Second topic here. It's been 4 months since my in-laws biometrics for EEA family permit in Iraq. No news, no calls, no contact. Their TLSContact phone app says they're in part 2 of 4 which is decision making centre. My patience is running out, I am worried it will be refused even though we gave all ...

Re: EU Settlement Scheme AFTER December 31st?

I'm talking about if they were to enter AFTER 31st of december. Can they still apply for the EU settlement scheme? The gov.uk says that's the deadline for entering the UK then applying

Re: EEA Family Visa 3 months now

Anyone with any experience? UKVI emailed me back today saying that their application is still awaiting a decision. Should I keep emailing them or is it no use? I have also contacted my local MP and they have also notified the Home Office for an update and he said it will take up to 20 working days f...

Re: EU Settlement Scheme AFTER December 31st?

Sorry I'll try again, English is my 4th language, sorry for the confusion. I will try to be very specific. My wife entered the UK a year ago, she obtained a BRC which is valid for 5 years. Meaning, she can stay in the UK for another 5 years after her Spouse Visa of 6 months. That was scrapped becaus...

Re: EU Settlement Scheme AFTER December 31st?

So basically you can get Pre-settled status to live in the UK for another 5 years, correct? If my in-laws come to the UK after 31st December, how do I go about extending their visa to live here for longer?

That's all I'm trying to ask :)

Re: EU Settlement Scheme AFTER December 31st?

Sorry maybe my question wasn't specific, I meant when they arrive after 31st of December, how would they go about getting a 5 year extension?

EU Settlement Scheme AFTER December 31st?

Hello, I'm currently waiting for my in-laws' EEA Visa Permit to be accepted, the application started in July, Biometrics in September 14th. My question is, if their visa gets accepted AFTER the brexit date, how can they get pre-settled status or extend their visa for another 5 years? Or is that now ...

Re: EEA Family Visa 3 months now

I'm a Dutch national, Dutch passport. I have a settled status in the UK and my wife has a pre-settled status with a Biometric Residence Card. I have lived in the UK for 14 years. She's lived here for 1 year and 7 months. I'm not sure about the spouse visa exactly, is there different types? I think I...

EEA Family Visa 3 months now

Hello, Anyone with EEA Family permit experience; how long did yours take, and did you try chasing it up for an answer or left it alone and then got a decision back? My in-laws who are in Iraq, Erbil had their Biometrics appointment on the 14th of September 2020. It's now just over 3 months and they'...
