Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Hello, I'm a Jan 2020 applicant, docs received Jan 27th and still not heard a peep. Wondering if anyone else is from Jan 2020 and still waiting? As I've seen some Feb applicants getting theirs now! :? I literally check my inbox everyday! According to someone's post after speaking with FBR team, the...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Re change of address docs… “If you have moved address since you completed your application, you should provide a scanned copy of proof of that new address e.g. original utility bills, bank statements, government correspondence within 5 working days.“ so just one item as proof of new address? Curiou...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Does it seem like the process is slowing down again? Back in November 2021 it looked like they started to finish the November 2019 submissions, so about 2 years turn-around. But since then I don't even think that they've really moved on to 2020 submissions. I'm February 2020, so I'm hoping they kee...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Things are moving people! I applied January 2020 but couldn’t pay as my computer timed out. I called them straight away and they assured me they would send a link to pay. I emailed them yesterday to tell them I was worried as hadn’t paid and didn’t want my application delayed because of it and low a...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Thanks. Sadly she doesn’t drive so the passport is all the official ID she has. Haven’t sent the docs yet so if they definitely won’t accept a recently expired (May 2021) certified copy of a passport then it looks like I’ll have to get hers renewed. They really should specify that the passport shou...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Oh the paperwork is torturous Muscat, I’m imagining that France is as bureaucratic as Italy? My timeline for the carta di Soggiorno hasn’t been too bad tbh. You were lucky enough to get out before the Brexit deadline whereas after being stuck in Capri for 10 months last year when Covid closed down ...

I’ve probably still got a long wait ahead of me but I thought I would ask if anyone has been in a similar situa...
