I might be in a difficult situation and would appreciate some advice please. I hired qualified solicitors Drummond Miller in a hope that he would be more organised and up to date. I prepared everything for him and he assured me that application would be sent by 06 September 2011. I started chasing ...

Delayed Acknowledgement Letter

Hi Re: Tier 1 General Migrant Extension I am a bit concerned and worried here. My application was sent on 06 September 2011. Until today the 07 Oct 2011 I have not received the acknowledgement letter or the biometrics invitation. I have processed my application through qualified solicitors Drummond...

Atleast you might have your date of birth on your passport man.

Obviously any passport does not reflects someones exact age at the time of issue.

In first part you wrtoe 3000 + 1500 = 3500, which I dont understand. Taking for granted it says 4500. If £1500 was a loan by the company to yourself for some sort of holidays then I would imagine it wouldnt have been taxed as it is payable back to the empoyer. Therefore it wont be included in the t...

You will get same points for age as you got in your first application.

I dont think this area has any sort of complications around it.

You wouldn't need to present home office any sort of extra proof apart from your passport which they would eventually have anyway.

Tier 1 General (Early Extension)

Hi everyone The users of this website have been very helpfull in the past. However there is too much information on this webstie (which is good in some sense) that I cant make my decision for sure. My Tier 1 General Extension is due in Oct 2011. The users of this webstie have encouraged me to apply...

True. In todays uncertain environment, we need to be more organised. However, in your cases you were WP holders unlike myself, Tier1 General Migrant. My Visa expires on 13 Oct 2011. And I am planning to anytime after 16 Sept 2011. Would you then suggest me to apply in end of August rather waiting u...

Hire a Solicitor

Hi I dont know the exact details of your case obviously. However, in cases like yours anyone should immidiately seek pro assistance not because they are qualified to deal with you affairs, but only because they have so much experience that they can make you aware of where you actualy stand under to...

Its a bit odd to get extention for three months in advance. As you said its normal to post the application 2-3 months in advance. As far I have noticed, home office is deciding within 30 Days. In some cases I am noticing with days of getting biometrics done. The processing times I got was from the ...

Thank You Option1: Now I know where you are coming from. Exactly.. It never trigreed my mind what you have just picked up. I think your advice out weighs my assumptions. I will go as per your advice in point 1 Option 2: If I disregard the first month I have checked that I still qualify with extra 0...

But If I apply a month early on 16 Aug 2011, I will loose out on 05 Year completion and would have to seak another extention before I could qualify for ILR. That wouldn't be an ideal situation I would say. Spending another £1000.00 and risking another extention in everyday chaning rules wouldnt be...

Ltd Company Salaried employment

Dear If its a Limited Company, what would count is the Income you get in your bank in the form Dividends and/or Salary. The monthly payments of the invoices to the company should be of any relevance to the Home Office. As they would not be assessing your Ltd company accounts. They would be assessin...

Thank You

Dear I never imagined the users of this website to be so proactive and efficient. Thank You. Towards Point 1 - The pay date for both the jobs is different. I dont know how that would effect/fit in the asessment period claimed on the application form. As it asks to enter exact 12 Month period. My ex...

My extension is due next year in April 2011.

I was wondering when is the earliest I can apply to extend my stay.

And how would 15 out of 12 months rule apply at the time of application.

Thanks
