The minimum renewal is 3 years. So yes, that's a pain for all even if you need less than 1 year for ILR eligibility :( I called HO and they told me to put the visa expiry date until what you want visa. In My case it shows following options as bellow; Skilled Worker (Dependant) short occupation 3 Year Skilled Worker (Dependant) short occupation 5 Year Skilled Worker (Dependant) 3 Year Skilled Worker (Dependant) 5 Year 2. what do you mean by process? completing biometric or solving issue of IHS Fee....

* In our case, in the Dependant applicant section (i.e. Your details section) visa type is 'Skilled Worker (Dependant) 5 Year', which non-editable field. So I can't even change it.
