i think i should do the same ... but will it be ok if i send in the photocopies of the passports and apply all over again :( at least i will have my passports with me for all this time and then i can send it when they request it to stamp the residence card in ...

i guess it would work ?

cheers mate... the home office gave me his address as well... now i have to send it on tuesday as its a bank holiday in between.... They are just lazy i guess... i dont know who this andy works for but i think they are all the same ...have a great bank holiday guys..

Difference between uk and EEA2

Guys i would like to know whats the difference between applying for a Residence card and a marriage/spouse visa through uk law.
I think one is money that one is free and the other one cost a fee.

What else is the difference?

ok guys... what about if you need your passport back and go to the home office and pick it up ??? it says on their website as well that you can call them 48 hrs advance and they can arrange it to pick it up from croydon ???

what about if i call them and we can collect her passport next month in person from croydon and then send it back 2 weeks after when she comes back??

i think thats a possiblilty at least she can attend the funeral. Maybe i wont be able to go with her..but she can go??

one is Certificate of Approval
and the other is
Certificate of Application

one for marriage 1st one
and
one for EEA2 the 2nd one..;

well... normally they send it on the royal mail... i dont know what does that secure mail means... guess you need to call them again and ask them to clarify that to you... hope they will... good luck..

GUYS !!!! good news on the BIA website... they have updated their website and they are working on applications made in january 2008... at least they are telling that...hope that they are doing that in practical... i have applied in february and hope will receive updates on that soon..
