Guys this is a bit confusing for me too.. i am from pakistan and got married on the 9th February 08.. i was on a student visa.. got married to a sweddish citizen.. Am i allowed to work..?? Please let me know.. i sent my application on 19th Feb 08 but havent recieved the acknowledgement letter yet......

well what i know is that once u r married u can take employment.. dont have alot info but maybe someone else can help more... sorry..im still waiting for acknowledgement letter which will make it clear, i'll let u know once i get that..

Well congrats mate... i guess that they had made the decision before they got your additional documents . dont you think so.. i had the same case... my visa was issued for less than six months and i had submitted my application form for COA just one day over three months and got the COA in three wee...

what you mean eea clearance within four days. did you apply in the uk or from abroad. they say they are still working on applications submitted in october 07 on the HO website.
