I think that if they write a letter stating he is on electoral roll and council tax surely that should count for something - at least it proves he was at that address.

If he is on electoral register, council tax bill then surely he should be recognised as a tenant. I am only guessing.

I have a job offer for my partner - how long will this be valid for.
The job will be open for whenever he gets here.

Hi I am in the process of gathering info for spouse visa - I am now concentrating on accommodation part of evidence and have only just realised that I need to show proof of ownership - ie title deeds - where do I obtain these from. I have so far - evidence of mortgage payments - right to buy letter ...

All documents submitted have to be original but take copies as well.

anyone any suggestions best way to send evidence folder courier or by registered post.

My partner has a criminal conviction for under 1 ounce of weed (personal use) which he did 40 hours community service - in Jamaica. Will he get refused entry. anyone who has had a similar problem get in touch.

When posting a visa application for a spouse (Jamaican) do I need to enclose my passport or can I put in a copy. We are putting in application whilst I am there but I will need the passport to travel home.
