When I completed my application - we supplied all original JA documents for my husband and only had mine were certified ie birth certificate - passport pages.

I don't believe it will cause you any problems at all, it certainly didn't cause us any problems. My brother in law owns a plumbing company and a building company -

He will be doing carpentry (fitting Spam etc) but will also learn other skills on the job.

The offer is open for whenever he arrives in UK.

I think that if they write a letter stating he is on electoral roll and council tax surely that should count for something - at least it proves he was at that address.

Hi I am in the process of gathering info for spouse visa - I am now concentrating on accommodation part of evidence and have only just realised that I need to show proof of ownership - ie title deeds - where do I obtain these from. My partner has a criminal conviction for under 1 ounce of weed (personal use) which he did 40 hours community service - in Jamaica. Will he get refused entry. anyone who has had a similar problem get in touch.

Hi I am a newbie but need a bit of information

When posting a visa application for a spouse (Jamaican) do I need to enclose my passport or can I put in a copy. We are putting in application whilst I am there but I will need the passport to travel home.
