Also, about previous applications, if I made any. How many do I fill in? all of them I don't remember all of them.

For example

Do I need to fill it in all student visa applications I made or just say one student visa one child student visa?

Re: Application Parent Information

- Place of issue

Yet, there is no "place of issue" on my BPR.

just to make sure it is my residence permit that I got with my ILR ?

Re: Application Parent Information

Quick question about referees again.

I am using my friend and his girlfriend's dad as my two references. Will it be classed as they are related to each other or relative or is it okay to use them both?

Yes, they need to each sign the form. You then have to scan and upload them with your supporting documents.
You can also have your referees sign the whole thing directly on the PDF, no need to scan. See this post.
Thank you, very helpful

Re: Application Parent Information

Quick question regarding refers - Do they need to sign some sort of form? or filling their information on the online application form is enough? If, yes how do I go about getting that form? No, your parents don't need to sign your form. Sorry my bad, I guess I did not word it properly. I meant the ...

Re: Application Parent Information

You can say "not known" - it's not an issue. Yes, you can apply on the ILR anniversary date or anytime after (there's no due date by which you have to apply - it's a voluntary application), but don't rush, take your time and get everything as correct as possible. Also review the AN guidan...

Application Parent Information

Hello, I am filling in my application for naturalisation, however, I am stuck on the question regarding providing information about my parents. I do not know my parent's DATE and the City of Birth and there's no way to get access to that information. When I applied for ILR they didn't ask for a date...

Tier Graduate visa

Hi, I wanted to ask if it is possible to leave the country while the application is pending for a Graduate visa . Basically, my friend needs to leave the country to visit his father. His student visa will end in Oct and he won't be able to come back till Jan 2023. So when he applies for the Graduate...

Travelling during neutralisation

Hello,

I will be able to apply for neutralisation on 13 Sept 2022 as it will be one year after I was granted ILR. I was looking at the process and it seems it can easily take up to 4-5 months. So my question is if I apply for it in Sept can I still travel in Oct?

Thank you

Re: Immigration advise ILR University Fees

I am doing a PhD You mentioned above that you are doing a Masters. Are you doing an MPhil course leading to a PhD? If so, is it possible to split the course, so that you graduate with an MPhil (or other Masters) and then start the PhD an academic year later, with the same institution? In such a cas...

Re: Immigration advise ILR University Fees

Heres'a an idea: is it possible for you to change universities? If so, show your new ILR status to the new university and ask if you transfer to them will they accept you as a home student. as brilliant as the idea sounds. Unfortunately, it is impractical as I am doing a PhD so it would be impossib...

Re: Immigration advise ILR University Fees

Hey, I have another question. I am thinking about applying for student Finance then. Will it impact my British citizen application?

Even though I have ILR but uni is refusing to change my status will that mean I won't get student finance?

Re: Immigration advise ILR University Fees

Just one last bit of question. As I was on tier 4 uni make all tier 4 students do a weekly check-in session which is all about standing in long Q and showing your documents. They normally say if we fail to attend they will report us to UKIV and revoke our sponsorship and we could get deported. Even ...

Re: Immigration advise ILR University Fees

Yes, I understand that. However, the university web page still says " If you have already enrolled onto your course and your immigration status changes while you are currently studying it still may be possible for your fee classification to change . This is assessed by your relevant Student Of...

Re: Immigration advise ILR University Fees

The university is likely correct. A change of status midway through the course does not change the Home/International student status. What matters is your status on the first day of the first year of the course , which then lasts the entirety of the length of the course. See the UKCISA page on Engl...

According to this: b] third party solicitor weblink removed by moderator [/b] ILR has to be renewed every 10 years. did you read it, nowhere it says ILR has to be renewed every 10 years and ILR does not expire? it says " All Biometric Residence Permits have an expiry date and will last up to 1...
