Re: Evidence of continuous residence while being unemployed

Can anyone help please? What documents can I provide as a proof of "continuous residence in the UK" for the time period while I was unemployed?

During that year, I was unemployed, as I lost my job due to the pandemic in March 2019.
Are you dates correct?? There was no pandemic in march 2019.
Sorry, no, should be April 2020 - March 2021.

Evidence of continuous residence while being unemployed

I've received an "Application Update" email, asking me to provide some further documents: Evidence of continuous residence :- Evidence that you were living in the United Kingdom between April 2019 and March 2020. Below is a list of the type of evidence that can show you were living in the ...

Re: General discussion on CSI and Settled Status. Big issues for people on the EEA-Applications Routes

Guys, have any of you (or anyone you know) been approved for British Citizenship without a CSI from back when they were students? I have been a student between 2009 - 2012 without a CSI and I wonder if I have any chances. I had no clue that such thing even exists. Nobody ever mentioned it. And now i...

Re: Student without a CSI - Would it affect my application?

You just need to explain things covered by your application, no need to add anything else, or going back further. Your cover note should explain the facts clearly and concisely. You are expected to be honest when applying. Sure, but this is purely for explaining why I don't have the CSI for 2011 - ...

Re: Student without a CSI - Would it affect my application?

You will have to decide. Presumably in your 10 year employment record you have listed your time as student - and by submitting your application you declare it's correct/complete. Suggest you include an explanatory note with your documents. Note that UKVCAS accepting your Yes/No answer does not mean...

Re: Student without a CSI - Would it affect my application?

Thank you for your help guys. So CSI requirement seems to be that kind of a 'grey area' that everyone is uncertain about, added by goverment to complicate things, as if they weren't complicated enough. I am wondering what's best: - Mention it on the application (separate letter) right away, and say ...

Re: Student without a CSI - Would it affect my application?

CSI was a requirement under EEA regulations as adopted by the UK, applicable to persons exercising treaty rights as "student" or "self-sufficient". Did you ever apply for an EEA Permanent Residence card and were rejected due to missing CSI, or were approved with no CSI if the ap...

Student without a CSI - Would it affect my application?

I have read very contradicting information about the CSI Insurance requirement for students and I'm not sure whether the fact I didn't have one, would mean I won't be accepted for British citizenship? I have been a full time student in the UK between 2009 - 2012 and I did not have a CSI (just like m...

Naturalisation return of documents timeline

When applying for British citizenship with a foreign passport, how long does it take to get your passport back? Or is it with them throughout the full process? Thanks in advance!
