I think, if you out of country for more than 90 days consecutively then the time gets reset. I don’t know if their exist any exceptions.

You can apply for ILR 28 days short of 5 years. So in your case you can apply for ILR after 17th July.

You can ask your company to send you on your current visa. As at any given time you can have only one valid visa on your passport, if you get WP done then your Tier 1 visa gets void.

As of now the rules for ILR says that you have to be Physically in UK for 5 years. and you can apply for ILR 28 days before you finish your 5 years.

So, your 5 years clock starts from the day you land in UK and not from the day your visa is stamped.

Multiple entry implies that you can enter UK multiple times as long as your visa is valid. So the "entry" has not bearing on the ILR.

If the case is won (4 years of ILR ) then you will also be beneffited.
