Re: Tier 2 dependents on ILR 'lapsed' due to naturalisation

Apologies if I have ended up confusing you.

Their BRP says 'Leave to enter' and 'Work permitted'. Their visa was a dependent visa (assumedly Tier 2) on the main visa that was my ILR.

Does this answer your question?

Tier 2 dependents on ILR 'lapsed' due to naturalisation

I had ILR, and had two dependents on it. I recently got naturalised. The dependents' visa (based on the ILR) is valid till 2024. The ILR has, of course, now lapsed, and sent back to the authorities. Will they need to get a fresh dependent visa before 2024, because the ILR on which their visa was bas...

Re: Passport application - 2nd request to confirm identity

I really don't understand why they can't give feedback on why someone else is needed, but can't do anything to change the process so best just to do as instructed. Thanks - this is the exact conclusion I reached today morning. Yesterday was more of a righteous anger kinda thing, because I too, am c...

Passport application - 2nd request to confirm identity

I am applying for first adult passport after naturalisation. Application was submitted on 2 November 2021, and my referee confirmed my identity on the same day. Now, well into the fourth week, I received another email from the Passport Office saying "Your passport application is on hold because...

The question is ONLY relevant to meeting the English requirment. Ukvi don't care about your degree for any other reason or purpose
Perfect! Thanks.

If you are not suing the degree, simply answer no to the degree question.
I thought of this, but the question in the form reads:
Do you have a degree that was taught in English?

I am a slightly wary that answering "No" would be misrepresentation of facts.

Re: English language requirement - HOW to fill in the form

It is a non-UK degree, although taught in English and from the EU.

English language requirement - HOW to fill in the form

Hello - I have a slightly specific question. I couldn't find answer either in FAQ or elsewhere, so thought of asking here. I took an IELTS academic in 2012, which I used for Tier 2 (General) application (2013) Tier 2 (General) renewal (2016) ILR (2019) It was accepted every time, no questions asked....
