Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

I asked them about a renewal and all they told me was that my application was due for a decision soon and is coming for final processing shortly. When I asked if that meant I don’t need an extension they said that they will endeavour to get it processed before my expiry date. So don’t know tbh.

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

The application will state very clearly what is required. I know for the EU1A, if the EU citizen is employed then they do not need medical insurance, that is only for if they are a student or residing with sufficient resources.

Ah I see, they gave you a longer temporary stamp. Mine is 6 months almost exactly so hopefully it gets processed in time.

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

Got my IRP card for my temp Stamp 4 in the mail yesterday, so that’s good! Now the anxiety over whether they process it in time so I don’t have a gap.

Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

Received my letter telling me I can apply for temporary permissions. I also need to send them my most recent passport (I had to renew it since I applied so this makes sense). They say my temp permissions will be valid until 31 March so here’s hoping I get my application processed before then. HI~ C...

Re: Stamp 1G to Stamp 1

Hi everybody! After my graduation, I got this year a change of visa to Stamp 1G (Third level graduate programme) that allow me to search for a job and eventually change my migration status. I found a job, and a few weeks ago, I was granted the Critical Skills Employment Permit. These two processes ...

Re: Stamp 1G to temp Stamp 4, is it necessary?

My employer does not sponsor visas, I would have to get a general permit. So there’s no real point in going through the process and spending the money. So the onus would always be on me, rather than my employer.

Re: Stamp 1G to temp Stamp 4, is it necessary?

I have a job right now based on my stamp 1G. It is a permanent role but they get antsy when it comes to my immigration status. They were panicking when I was concerned about my Stamp 1G expiring and it may not be renewed in time. It was and nothing went wrong but they said that it would be “very bad...

Re: Stamp 1G to temp Stamp 4, is it necessary?

This is true, I like the flexibility. I think I will change it. I know that the department gives extensions if needed as well:

Stamp 1G to temp Stamp 4, is it necessary?

Hi everyone, I had a question and it may be very obvious but I can’t find any answer anywhere. I recently renewed my Stamp 1G while I was waiting for my letter to allow me to get a Stamp 4. However, my Stamp 4 would only be valid until 31 March 2023 while my Stamp 1G is valid until August 2023. My w...

No. When they said two weeks I suspect it will be sent out at the very end of two weeks, knowing them.

They would quite possibly view it as a marriage of convenience, especially if you are not in a committed long term romantic relationship right now and you are just friends.

Be careful, these are two different things you are taking about. One is the Visa to enter Ireland to join your partner. these are the ones they are processing from June. Ws soon you get the visa and you have arrived in Ireland you need to applyfor the EUTR - Stamp4 EUFAM. Thats the permission to re...
