I recently paid for my wife's application in PKR. On the day it cost me £1584.66 for the visa fee and £1947.79 for the IHS fee. Not sure if I will be getting a refund for the overpayments as I did everything I could to make the price as accurate to the conversion as possible. Just seems like the UK...

Update: thanks All. Yes your feedback was correct and very helpful as wife was given the option for Priority visa £600 at the VFS centre Islamabad before taking biometrics. I believe the option for a priority visa is given at Islamabad VFS but not at lahore. My wife applied at Lahore and wasn't given the change (early July, could have changed now) but I know a user on the forum who took a priority visa from Islamabad at the same time.

The way I understand the visa process, you want to give the Home Office the least opportunity to dwell on your husband's application. I am inviting my wife to live with me and my parents. Do I need to provide my parent's passports or driving licenses as part of the supporting documentation? They have written an invitation letter, I've got a title deed and mortgage statement but I am wondering if you need to provide ID. Thanks

Make sure that when you're emailing them, you are including the format required which gives them all of the information that they require for the applicant. You can find the format on their website.
