Re: IHS Charge payment (Help)

Have you got the cash in £? Can you use a Monzo/Curve/Revolut/Starling opened in the UK to make the payment? I remember I used a Curve card, that seems to be fine for the payment in PKR so I suspect INR shouldn't be an issue. It's also pretty fast to open an account like Starling/Monzo so you can op...

Re: Help - UK spouse visa application documents issue.

People post about having to resend documents all the time. Maybe a pdf was corrupted, maybe they somehow lost it, maybe they want to test the applicants to see if they submit the same documents. Who knows. Just pretend that they lost them, resend and forget about it! Definitely nothing to worry about.

Re: Spouse Visa Extension FLR(M) - Document Checklist

You are submitting far too many totally unnecessary documents. Submitting exceeaive documents you think are relevant is never a good idea, it delays an application and key mandatory docs are then missed. Below what is NOT required! Support Letters - Applicant Support Letter for Application - Sponso...

Re: Spouse Visa - Does my wife change her family name before or after Visa?

I have been through this process myself, and I can categorically say that the Nadra Centre is providing you with incorrect information. Is she in Pakistan trying to get her document updated? Or are you doing this on the online portal? After my wife and I were married and our marriage registered with...

My wife just received her passport today and was granted her visa to enter UK as a partner. My question is, she was not given a decision letter. I did tell her to make sure she gets it but the VFS office (Lahore) said they no longer issue these. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar...

Re: website not clear about visit rules for foreign spouse

the website has now changed and no longer includes the paragraph about not needing a visa. Seems unlikely this is a coincidence, but instead of just advising me of any error, they quietly changed the website and told me to seek a professional for advice. Class act. Dude this is incredible 😂 I check...

Re: Spouse Visa and Child Right of Abode (CoE)

I believe your son will still not be a British national as he won't have a British passport or Certificate of Naturalisation. However, he will still enjoy the same rights as a British Citizen in terms of immigration and work in the UK. I would probably not state he was a British citizen in your wife...

Re: Spouse Visa and Child Right of Abode (CoE)

Thanks for your detailed reply. I became a British Citizen By Naturalisation in 2016. I know CoE is more expensive. I am thinking of applying for CoE instead of a passport because the wait time is a lot more. Is there any other negative consequence related to CoE. Regards, Noman I'm still unsure of...
