My wife and I were married in 2002. In 2007, 5 years after our marriage, we decided to move back to England. My wife is a British Citizen. We made my visa application and I received a two year leave to remain visa. I have always been worried that we received the wrong visa. It seems to me now, as I ...

I now see that they are issuing a 27 month visa so that the situation that I have mentioned does not occur.

Any idea if they will take this in to account retrospectively.

This last response with your link to the 9.7 has been very useful. This is probably the best link that I have seen in all of my searching, as it pertains to maintenance.

If I take it correctly, I should send my CV with my application, showing skills for working.

We would like to travel as soon as possible. We were aiming for March.

My wife was born in the UK. Lived there all her life until she went travelling and then moved to Canada with me. She only has her permanent resident status.

We have a new born so she will be staying home while I work in UK. Does this have any effect on my visa application. ...
