Re: Depedent Visa for child with both parents on Tier 2 skilled

Hello all, Myself and husband on skilled tier 2 visa in the UK since august 2023. My husbands visa validity is until September 2026 and mine until September 2028. We were told the child's Dependant visa validity will align with that parents visa which is due to expire soon. Hence she was linked to ...

Re: Change BRP Collection Post Office

Hi, The Gov website states that the Home Office cannot change this for you and that you must contact the appropriate Post Office branch to arrange this. https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/getting-your-brp-if-you-applied-from-outside-the-uk#:~:text=Collecting%20your%20BRP%20from%20a%20dif...

Re: Change BRP Collection Post Office

Hi MRizwan,

This is the information on the Post Office website:

"Visit the branch [that you would like to collect the BRP from] to request the redirection and pay the fee. Then return 7 calendar days later to collect your permit."

Hope that helps.

Re: Spouse visa or Parent visa

Hello Jafferdeen, Your friend must consider a few things. Firstly, the parent route is not for couples in a genuine and subsisting partner relationship. It seems that, despite the uncertain nature of the relationship, your friend is living with his wife and the relationship is not yet broken down. T...

Re: New Employer Skilled Worker Visa

Hi DrUni, You will have to make 3 applications either way if you want to qualify for the ILR. If you get 5 years with a new employer, you would have completed the 5 years criteria within 4 years of the new visa (provided that you've done 1 year with the old employer - meaning that you finish working...

Hi Geetha111, Hi Frontier, Sorry for discussing the same point again. I meet all the tier-2 requirements and ours is also big company with around 800-1000 employees. My only worry is will they reject my application based on overstay. Because of that I wanted to explain the situation. Do you think it...

Hi shijinpeter1989, It seems that you have indeed applied for the health and care skilled worker visa based on the fee and lack of IHS fee and based on the questions asked under the eligibility section. If you have submitted the application - it is suggested that you cancel the application - https:/...

Re: When to apply for ILR for main applicant and extend dependant visa

Hi Ankitperiwal,

Further to the above, if your ILR application was to be accepted then your wife (as a dependant visa holder) seeking to extend her dependant visa after you are given an ILR can only actually apply for and be given a 3 year extension.

Re: Can dependents included in Judicial review apply for tier - 2

Hi Geetha111, If your visas have expired then you are likely to be classed as overstayers from that date onwards. This puts any next visa application at risk. It seems that it would be in your best interest to return to your home country and make any further applications from there otherwise any app...

Hi AliJaf,

The country of residence refers to the country you are currently living in. So if you're living in the UK, then this should state UK.

Hi Joanna2014, Generally, such applications will normally indicate that this is purely an attempt to bring over a family member to the UK. Especially if the organisation is new and/or newly given a sponsorship licence there will be more scrutiny from the H/O. As an owner of the business you do of co...

Hello,

Have you tried to contact Home Office about the BRP? If they sent this out they should be able to track the delivery details.
