Hello all, I applied for the UK naturalisation on 23/06/2021. After terrible waiting, I received an email from my local council at 1535 hrs (19/11/2021) inviting me to book a private ceremony as the group ceremonies weren't available due to covid-19 restriction. I will have to wait till Monday 22/1...

Congratulations everyone in here that got their approval...

I was contacted by my local council but was told that the ceremony is done online. I understand Covid restrictions but is part of the fees not for the ceremony itself?

Just a little bit annoyed if I am being honest....

I can see that some people who applied in August or Sept have received responses. There doesn't seem to be any order but at least people are being approved.

And that is the frustrating part... next week it will be 5 month for me...

My question to Home Office is now 15 days ago...

I know its less than 6 month, but this is frustrating.... The Mailman must think I am stalking him as well

And if your letter is lost (rarely but happens) there is no way to know about it or check the status of your appl...

Once you've applied your UKVI account webpage will not change or update, it's not meant to anyway - it's not there to give you an update on your application.
