Passport application - definition of applying as "part of a couple" or "part of a group"?

My parter and I applied for our first passports on 15 Jan and posted the documents on 17 January in the same envelope to the same passport office. I got a notification on 20 January that my documents were received, and I got a notification today 26 January that my application was approved. However, ...

Current biometrics appointments available?

Is anyone in the process right now of booking a biometric appointment and is able to tell me what appointments are currently available as of tonight? I have an appointment in London on 14th December but am desperate to get one sooner - but I can't check other available dates without cancelling this ...

And thanks also for your help on this one! It makes sense that some might get missed off accidentally, glad to hear it's unlikely to be used to penalise us!

Naturalisaton application - residence requirement when passport is less than 5 years old?

Hello! I'm applying for naturalisation this week, I received ILR in August 2021. I need to provide proof of residence in the UK for 5 years and I am a non EEA national. This is usually met by providing a passport with the relevant stamps showing entry/leaving. However, my current passport was grante...

Naturalisaton application - forgotten trips in ILR - to include?

Hi all I applied for ILR and received it in August 2021, so can apply for naturalisation this week. I am preparing the application and doing the 5 year travel history. I've realised there are two very short trips at the end of 2017 that I completely forgot and left off the application for ILR. ILR w...

BRP delivery email?

Hi everyone Do we always receive an email saying that our BRP is out for delivery? I applied super priority for ILR and had notification of approvel on 19 August but haven't yet had an email from UKVI that the BRP is out for delivery. I'm wondering if it could arrive any minute. Thanks a lot Fiona

Refund after varying Set(M) to Set(O)?

Hi everyone Like some others I erroneously submitted a Set(M) application for ILR when I should have used Set(O) as I am applying as a Tier 2 dependant partner. I was given the opportunity to vary this and apply again uisng Set(O). I did this and have just had my ILR approved which is great. I was t...

Re: ILR - initial warning about possible rejection from UKVI

Hi there. I have just received a nearly identical message to yours after submitting my applicatio for ILR. I was so sure that SET(M) was the right application for ILR for a dependent. Could I please ask, have you now been successful with your application under SET(O)? Thank you so much, I wish you a...
