Re: EU Settlement scheme timelines

Ive been looking all over the web for such a thread, it would be very helpful, given where it is now, which is nowhere close to 5 days, and into realms of many months. Given todays stats from the Home Office, still over 400k cases pending and only 20k backlog case reduction since June 30th, despite ...

I know... but my original question was does anyone recently requested ECS and how long it took?
In our own thread were quite stressed by our situation.
We had a communication in this regard today indicating the 5 day ECS is taking 11 business days and they were currently processing August 31st.

Within 20 minutes we got our first ever co...

Re: NHS charging. Ways in which people can be lawfully resident in the UK. Updated 18 January 2021

With all due respect, they didnt ask where we lived, if you read my post. If they need proof we could offer everything up to inviting the round for a cup of tea in that regard. But that was never questioned. What was pointed out was my wifes lack of proof could lead to denial of NHS service to all o...

Re: NHS charging. Ways in which people can be lawfully resident in the UK. Updated 18 January 2021

British citizenship or a British passport, does not mean that person can use the NHS without being billed at 150% of the NHS cost. British citizens were abusing the NHS too, by visiting the UK for free medical treatment when they should have paid. Brits also have to prove they can use the NHS witho...

Re: NHS charging. Ways in which people can be lawfully resident in the UK. Updated 18 January 2021

I can only imagine what its like for non-native english speakers, visiting hospital without benefit of a native speaker. Slightly on a tangent but I think it is of cultural importance to point out that if someone is not a native speaker doesn't mean one cannot fluently and competently communicate i...

Re: Citizenship stress are we to be deported ?

It might say everything is ok, but with nothing to show for it, it means nought… espe...

Re: Citizenship stress are we to be deported ?

Our reason for applying late was you had permanent residence status or a residence document that stopped being valid after 30 June 2021, and you did not know you neede...
