Well, her mother is currently caring for them, but she's around 80 and her health's not good. (My wife also has a copy of her mum's birth certificate). My wife pays school fees for the children, and her ex-partner rarely sees them. I presume a judge would want to see as much evidence as possible of ...

Settlement visa for children

Hi all, I am British, married since 2008 to a Swazi lady who has a indefinite stay visa. We applied (via the Pretoria visa office) for UK settlement visas for her 2 children from a former partner, who live in Swaziland. The application was refused on several points, the most important, i suspect, st...

We were married in Manzini too. We obtained the marriage certificate, issued in Manzini, the day after our wedding.

Thanks for the reply.

She wants to re-apply as it will, as you say, probably be processed faster. She is pregnant and wants to give birth in the U.K. rather than Swaziland.

Appeal of re-apply?

Hi everyone, I would be very grateful for advice on the following; My partner's working holiday visa expired in May, so she returned home to Swaziland. As we are in love and were living happily together, we got married in Swaziland in early June. We received the marriage certificate and applied for ...

Getting married at short notice

Hi, My Swazi partner has a work visa which is valid until 8th May this year (she originally arrived on a 2 year work permit, and successfully applied for an extension of stay last year). We would like to marry, but I am worried I have left it too late as now she has less than 3 months left on her vi...
