Re: WP :changed employer: Need to apply FLR (IED)?

Hi all, I came to UK in 2006 on a WP. But I changed employer recently and the new employer applied for new WP without me sending my passport or anything. Presumably, you had entered the UK on a valid entry clearance endorsement (17.16) that granted you leave to enter. The entry clearance is equival...

Did you not apply for FLR when you found a new employer?
That is what I always assume, but apparently this seems a bit odd for me. I don't really understand this and really confusing.

I don't know as my new emp did all the paperwork and then they told me that the HO had approved my change of employer WP.

That is why I am confused.

I still have the EC which states my WP will be valid until 2011.

But my prev WP is still valid for another 4 years.

The new one was applied because I change employer. So why do I need a new FLR (IED)?

I am so confused.

HO never asked for my passport or anything from me.

FYI , my prev WP was still valid for another 4 years when I got this new WP. Why do I have to apply FLR (IED) now while previously i didn't have to do so with my first employer? My new WP is for another 60 months but my EC stamp with the prev WP is still valid until 2011 in my passport which says Mu...

The question is: does a new work permit for the new job re-set the five-year clock required for ILR? No! But do be aware that following the issue of the new WP you will need to apply for a new visa, using form FLR(IED). Failure to do that might well jeopardise the application for ILR. The FLR(IED) ...

I have similar problem. But my WP ends in 2011 ( 5 year WP). When I get new WP with the new employer, I still have 4 years to go with the but the extend my WP to another 5 years.

Can I legally work with my current emp?

WP :changed employer: Need to apply FLR (IED)?

Hi all, I came to UK in 2006 on a WP. But I changed employer recently and the new employer applied for new WP without me sending my passport or anything. HO said just need to apply for change of employer under same category and qualification. The WP change was granted and I could legally work for my...
