If you have ILR your baby qualifies immediately to be registered as British citizen. But remember in all cases you have to prove the paternity of the baby.[/quote] A couple of things: If baby gets registered as British Citizen then will we need to apply for british passport as usual i.e 1 year spend...

Tier 1 Extension

Hi,

In case Tier 1 extension is rejected (due to missing supporting document with the application), for initial application made 28 days before original leave expires, then how long will one be allowed to make a fresh application without required to leave the UK?

Thanks

Re: Tier 1 extension

It is possible. But it is like biting your own foot because you will definitely need to do 2nd extension as the new rule laid to case worker states them to issue visa from date of application if applied earlier than 28 days rather than expiry date of visa. though applying 1-2 month earlier is fine....

I agree! In my case, during those 5 months, I did not have any visa status so 3 months condition is also irrelevant!! I have been dragged back by 2.5 years - a period of a life time!!

Just to ask, is t...

Dear aaa123 You lose nothing by finding out from the UKBA yourself! Considering how the British people interprete the law when it involves people from developing countries, I think a current one will be OK to be on the safe side. It will be a huge loss if your wife is prevented from entering the UK...
