Re: Eu Treaty files waiting time - EU1 or EU1A

IRPs aren't printed in local stations- they're printed centrally and then sent to those stations. I highly doubt youllget your card on this visit (but possible; I don't know the procedures for outside Dublin)

but what is the process for her to travel to any schengen countries?
She applies for Schengen visa. Follow the process listed on the website of a consulate for a country you want to travel to.

UK visa doesn't help her with it at all.

Re: Visa Sponsorship on Secondment role

It may depend on the way this payment is organized. If that extra amount is put down differently from the base salary, UKVI may not accept it as they may consider it as an income you may or may not get. Also, This secondment role is for 12 months. And what will happen afterwards? You will not fulfil...

Re: Expired 1G IRP after CSEP application made

I was told that I need not apply for Stamp 1G renewal as the decision will come by my 1G expiry date (20 Sep). By whom? ISD staff? As far as I know, you're covered for 8 weeks on the conditions of your past stamp (1G in your case), but there's no clear rule about it. I'd say start looking into the ...

Re: Overstayed 18 years and ILR

It's way too early to talk about ILR. You would have to either apply as a spouse (and be put on 10 year route/do a 5 year route switch) or wait for another 2 years and apply for long residence to stay in UK as youve been here for 20 years (which is also a 10 year route). Other members will give you ...

Re: Family reunification Type D

Waiting time seems to be the norm - as per https://www.irishimmigration.ie/visa-decisions/ , they're working on July last year applications in Dublin. The difference might be caused by the fact that some applications are decided in the locsl visa office while others are sent to Dublin. See https://w...

Coreection - did you made an application for the permit itself or for an IRP card?

If it's the former, 8 week provision won't apply to you.

For FBR it doesn't happen. It's only for ones gettign their cert via naturalization (in this case you do it at a ceremony).

You can just apply for a passport by post now.

No. It's 3 years only as pre immigration rules.

Thinking out loud - maybe he can switch to family visa in this case?
That's usually bad advice, but AFAIK it has barely any, if not none, absence limits, allowing your husband to qualify for ILR in 5 years.

Other, more experienced folks, will give better advice - wait for their response.
