Sorry to hear about this zubbshah. I dont quite understand the point of the check and send service, its a simple 4 page form. Also from the timelines on this thread they seem to take upto a week to send the application to ips whereas if you apply yourself it reaches next day. does not make any sense...
Quick update, private ceremony over on 24th February, sent passport application yesterday, for myself and wife. Applying for her passport in her married name, using a deed poll.

We may have started celebrating a little bit too early. I called the council for a private appointment, they have no knowledge of my approval yet, and I have not received the letter either.
