ILR BRP validity date

Dear Team,
My family's ILR BRP arrived today with validity as December end this year. I was wondering, as we have a travel plan end of the year with a return next year mid Jan.
Could it be because of the new eVisa initiative? Would we require a BRP renewal before the travel?

Posting an update here, as i saw may applicants facing the same error: HO refunded the full fees for the wrong Set (M) application. Re: ILR Set (0) documents required clarification

1) They refer to parts 1 and 2 of the same consent form. There is only one to upload which has 3 parts: the applicant will sign part 1 and the spouse will sign part 2. Part 3 should be ignored. Understood. Does this mean, I should upload same signed part 1 & 2 against both the sections on the u...

Re: Dependents ILR rejection

Thanks for the quick response CR001. The wordings sounded like it was a rejection, sorry about that - You have extant leave as a Dependent Joiner until 24 May 2025. Therefore a rejection of this application will not effect your immigration status or history. Please apply for further leave on a appro...

Dependents ILR to naturalization

Dear Team, Happy new year. You guy's answered my ILR and naturalization-related queries last year, thank you. This query is an add-on to one of the prior queries. I understand that naturalization eligibility would require dependents to be on ILR. In this scenario, if I receive naturalization and my ...

Re: Naturalization query for 3 years route

For Citizenship, you need 5 years residence, which MUST include 1 year on ILR if you are not married to a British citizen. That's great information CR001. In this scenario, could my spouse and child apply for citizenship upon completing 5 years on PBS dependent visas (3 years on Tier-2 + 2 years on...

Re: British citizenship for child born outside UK and one parent holding ILR.

Thanks Simon.

Good information, then my understanding was wrong that child under 12 could apply for British passport if one parent is British citizen (irrespective of settled status of other parent and child). Thanks for giving clarity.
