Adverse effect of TD follow up

I'm wondering, will there be any adverse effects on naturalization application, if TD write to the department asking on individual application status, could that be possible department take it negatively ?

Do you know, were there application based on non EU or EU citizen and 5 residency or spouse application? as I believe they are looked by different applications

Re: Long term residence application

Were you, in the State on the basis of work permit/work authorisation/working visa conditions:, with corresponding permission to reside on Stamp 1 or Stamp 4 permission ? If that's the case you can apply, you can look for LTR conditions online. If you've been in Ireland for 5 yrs on work permits the...

Re: Citizenship application and Out of the State

This rule is there for a bit sometimes and was not introduced in Nov 2020, you can search on the forum this has been discussed a few times last year too. Hey, There is no official clarification of this new rule or even any law, or any court precendents. This new rule was suddenly become published on...

Re: Citizenship application and Out of the State

It's 6 weeks in total doesn't matter if you take them in one go or breaks. It's calculated from date you applied or signed the application that means from November to November in your case. Thanks v much for the reply. However it is a bit unclear on the citizenship website, it says that after the ap...

Re: Made a mistake in residency calculation

As per INIS residency calculator, you need to put the dates of your stamp and not holidays ( some people put holidays too in it but it's no where suggested or recommended officially). So, after away for 10 weeks if you still meet total number of days required 'after marriage' minus 10 weeks then you...

Re: Long term residence application

Does IRP cost 300 or 500 euro for renewal ? I applied in May 2021 and got a letter last week saying I was approved. In my case, sure if it is worth going ahead if you are applying for Citizenship as well (it will cost you €1,000 overall for the LTR - €500 to receive the letter of granting LTR + €500...

I believe, if it's under 6 weeks from November 2020-21 and subsequently, you are fine.

Hi, have you applied in August this year?

It's normally takes around 6-8 months for processing these applications and same is mentioned on INIS website!

Re: Travelling back to Ireland, IRP with INIS

Can you apply for the single entry visa ?

Stamp on the passport is not suffice to re-enter the country and I imagine with the new rule of IRP validity extension, it's applied to expired IRP card and you may still need the expired card with you to proof that, as stated in the article link shared.

They may try to follow up again, there are many who received passport without any calls or emails so may be, they may just sent the passport at provided address.

Re: When to apply for Naturalisation

I believe it's a date since she got the 'residence permit' which is 4th Feb 2019, visa dates and date given at airport doesn't count. Same for residence calculator you have to put dates register at INIS and not visas. Note- if she was away for more than 6weeks in any year then that time need to be m...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Hi All, I applied in Jan 2020. Received a request for additional documents in Jan 2021. Emailed in June 2021 asking for status. To date, they haven't responded to that email. In July 2021 I received a letter thanking me for sending documents in Jan, but then asking for basically the same documents ...

Hi All

Anyone who submitted the application on or after Aug 2020 got any update after receiving the passport and acknowledgement letter. I could see they are still processing early 2020, just to know if anyone got any update.

Thanks in advance

Wording of the letter seems same like wording in acknowledgment letter, may be sent by mistake by the department.
