Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Man, you spoke the heart out , it’s a everyday feeling. Since I work from home I wait every morning for the post man and when see no post , disappointed and wait for the next day - it’s a loop. Has anyone non-EU who applied from Oct-Dec 2020 got approval? I'm aware from this forum EU people have sta...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Looking at some other immigration pages, looks like there are approvals sent almost every week (last approval as per timeline there was printed 21st march )

Re: Crtical Skills Employment Permit refusal

I think requirements are clear and every case is different that’s why these applications are dealt by human and not automation. Looking at the letter text - it looks your job may not fall under CSEP, if that’s the case - minimum salary you require is 64k and normal work permit. If your job in CSEP c...

Is a ceremony going through for June? I applied Feb 2020, got approved citizenship via naturalisation March 2022. I didn't do FOI, ju...

Re: How many days in a year can I be outside Ireland if I am trying for Stamp 4 & Citizenship?

Regarding question 2: A) It’s not date you landed but the date you get your IRP card or stamp on passport from INIS as before this date you are on visa and not on residency permit. B) then from date of IRP to next 12 months, you can be away for 6 weeks with no issues ( ex march 21 to march 22). Hi t...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

If you meet all the required criteria and good character check then don’t know why you should not get the approval, it’s the matter of time but final decision is always of minister. I don’t think your salary or hours of work impact your application and same for your GF as she is not married or depen...

It's well documented on the official website, you only need to email them with updates in your details. May be sent them an email with a copy of the biometric pages of your new passport and IRP card. No, from April 2021 your permission is not linked to the expiration date on your passport. When you ...

Re: recoknable residence

If I was you, I would directly email and ask the ISD that way you will have proof and attach it with the application. Otherwise, taking a defensive approach would have provided the address of each year 2019, 20, 21, and 22 as you are claiming almost half of 2019 and 22 but in your situation, you don...

Life is not black and white and so are the things in life !!! If you are skill laboured (and not the burden) both need each other. Simple ! Do you need them or do they need you ? Oh, dear. If they need you, they will make it reasonable, if you need them then you have to accept whatever they want. Wa...

Have you checked the 2021 timeline, it’s taking around 5 months to get acknowledgment, receipt and reference number. I don’t think you have to do anything, just wait for now.

are you sure, you didn't misread it, its last 9 years before the application submission or your entire life?
Do you think they really require ALL addresses I lived in my entire life?

Do you know what is meant by “ -if your solicitor uses it for verification purposes”? Previously, if you got a new passport after you submit your citizenship application, you would need to submit a copy of your new passport's ID page. This is a bit more complicated now since they are asking for ever...

Re: Action after citizenship granted

simple maths, suppose if department gets 1000 application then they get = 1000 application * 1000 euro per application = 1000000 euros, in this money they can have atleast 15+ staff. Now, 260 working days * 15 staff = 3900 days work. So, if staff spend on an average 3-4 days on application they can ...
