Re: Scorecard is a positive development

If you look at the first post made in the timeline of 2021, 2020, 2019 was in late or end of January ( for 2019 first applications post in feb ), so by that logic, it’s still very early first application already submitted in 2022 after new point system. Well it is speeding up the process, bcs of unc...

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

Have you got evetting request via post or email? Received e-vetting invitation form today. A little confused about if they require a copy of passport or other ID documentation to be sent back with this? Letter doesnt mention it but the guidelines included state "all applicants will be required ...

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

So, is it correct it’s not always asked to do evetting before approval ? Just curious , you got the evetting request before getting approval ? Is it normal ? I though, ISD do the Garda check internally and don’t need applicants to request for evetting for the application received in 2020, am I wrong...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Thanks I saw that post and that’s why want to clarify , is evetting requested for all or most of applications before approval ( for applications submitted before April 2021) As I don’t see in post for most of already approved application we’re explicitly request evetting and I guess was done by ISD ...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

I’m very confused with the application stages/process and it’s order specifically with evetting, “for applications before April 2021”. Is the below order of stages is correct ??? Please suggest, it will be helpful for , many!!! 1) application submitted 2) receive acknowledgment letter (with passport...

Re: Scorecard is a positive development

I’m not sure why there is so much miscommunication or over speculation, instructions from the department are : 1) new scorecard applies for new application received 2022 onwards. 2) for new applications : even if applicants don’t meet 150 points , application won’t be rejected and will require more ...

If p60 don’t contains address in it, will it still be counted as residency proof with 60 points ? Any idea ?

Earlier lot of employers provide p60 with no address only mentioned on it ( I know employment summary contains address)

Why do you thing Ireland or Garda don’t have capacity to check criminal charges in UK ?

There are majority of applications coming from Northern Ireland and UK and you think they get citizenship even without criminal checks …. Really ??

Re: Certified colour copy of passport

Sending an passport ( or if everyone do that ) will completely fail the objective of a new system, clearly ISD don’t want to deal with this administrative task and won’t be happy with this practice of sending passport, no where ISD said it’s ‘optional’ as they need to review passport , return passpo...

Do you think, even if p60 don’t have Irish address it could still be counted toward residency proof ? I see in p60 from year 2016, 17…. There is no address mentioned anywhere and it was used to be provided by employer can it still be used as address proof ? I am unsure what exactly you mean as "...

If your partner visa is rejecting as officer is not convinced she will return to her home country after the trip then you need to address this point and reapply. there will be a reason why officer felt like this and she need to provide more proof, evidence and reason for her return - going to solici...

You don't have to wait another 5 years as you already meet the requirements of total days in the country 365*5 + 1( if you were in country for atleast 4 years in last 8-9 years, I believe check exact years on website ) You only have to meet requirements of continuous residency in last year and not t...

By the law of land, you need to have one year 'continuos residency year prior to submitting the application', if applying by the route of naturalization of residency. Lot of applications gets rejected because of this rule, this rule is black and white. everyone has a story but law is law. JR will no...
