Citizenship application and renewal of Stamp 4 are two separate matters. There is no dependency on each other. You should apply for the citizenship whenever you are eligible, and you should renew your stamp 4 when it's due to expire. Hey, thanks for your reply! That helped a lot! Have a lovely day ...

I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice, etc... My understanding is that: - Absences under 6 weeks in a given year are disregarded in calculating against the reckonable residence days - Absences over 6 weeks in a given year are subtracted *in their entirety* (i.e. no 6 week "discount"...
