In regards to Passport, there is no logic behind any of it. I applied Sep 28th, got to stage 4 and then 3 weeks after due date (Dec 1) they wanted more info. Sounds like operations normal then if you are 1 week past due date and they are saying check back in two weeks. For most of us they were going 2-3 weeks past due date.
