Hi Zahra, I applied on 15th of September and I just got the confirmation e-mail as of today. 2 months and 2 days. Crazy timeframe.

Hello, I know they have extended immigration permissions and we will now be allowed to leave the country with an expired IRP but has anyone gotten their cards back yet?

Hi Jolene, the system does this itself as technically the last day before your passport or your IRP is valid is the day before it actually expires (if that makes sense). So it should be fine, shows the same thing for me too.
