Finally got a reply:

"This application is at an advanced stage of processing and will be
submitted to minister for decision as expeditiously as possible. While it
is not possible to give an exact timeframe, this office will be in touch as
soon as a decision has been reached."

I sent them email for feedback but still no response. Maybe I should send them daily until they finally respond.

Does anyone knows usually what month the ceremony takes place or what month approvals received in 2020. Could it be at a similar timeframe?

I have to travel home and can't wait for this to end.

Its total silent at the moment. There was no movement at all in Jan. If ceremony in march like last year we should be able to get the decision soon. But total silent and cannot find any information at all. Not sure when is the next ceemony.

The UK role transferring to Ireland but the training is in the UK. Any short-term visa I can apply? I don't think Ireland specifically gives you any special routes. Employer sending me to UK for training, what options

Hi,

I have LTR and awaiting on the citizenship application. My new employer sending me to the UK for 1 -3 months for handover training. Can I work in the UK? I will be flying back and forth on weekends.

Any advice/suggestion is much appreciated. Thanks.

Just curious , you got the evetting request before getting approval ? Is it normal ? I though, ISD do the Garda check internally and don’t need applicants to request for evetting for the application received in 2020, am I wrong ?
