We got the cert on Aug 18th. We wanted to send an email but didn't get around to it.
On to the passport application (more waiting).

Can you share a few more details on how you were stopped? I thought Garda don't really check your license, only insurance

Fee processed on July 13th.
No certificate yet. Will e-mail if it doesn't arrive until Aug 13th.
