Skilled Worker Job Change and Dependant Visa Update

Hi there, I was on a skilled worker visa previously. Recently, I switched my job and new employer sponsored the skilled worker visa. Questions: 1. Do my dependants need to update their visa/brp since I have changed my job/visa. 2. My dependants' visa and IHS fees were paid by the previous employer. ...

Re: PBS Extension Visa -Delay

Finally, after a long wait of 7+ months my kid's BRP is received.

I filed a complaint twice, I talked to an MP to help me out. But it looks like home office takes its sweet time to process the application based on the priority and workload they handle. Being patient is the key.

Hi there, I had applied for a skilled worker dependant child for my daughter. But, her permission to stay was granted against Temporary/Social Worker Child. Re: Skilled worker -Employer change - dependent visa query

Yes, as per the guidelines, one has to re-apply sooner or later and this is inevitable. So, it would always be better to apply for dependents as soon as the primary visa holder gets the BRP.

Re: Skilled worker -Employer change - dependent visa query

There is no clear understanding around whether dependents need to re-apply for fresh visas at least for me. When you re-apply, the IHS (which you paid for the existing applications) gets credited to the original bank account from which it was paid on a pro rata basis. The question is who has paid fo...

Absence on Skilled Worker Visa

Hi there, I am on a Skilled Worker Visa. I recently found out that I need to go for pressing matters to my home country and will have to spend up to 6 months there. During those 6 months, I will not be working for the employer. Question: 1. How long can I stay outside the UK? 2. Is it possible to ta...

Is there any time capping on leaving current employer

Hi there, I have recently taken up a sponsored job under Skilled Worker Visa. After joining the organisation I realised that the job profile is not as per my expectation and I am willing to switch. I have found a new sponsor who is willing to sponsor a Skiller Worker Visa. Question: 1. Is there any ...

Re: Tier 2 - Change of employer query (new job offer)

1. Assuming if I get my new visa early (say in December), can I keep working for existing employer till Feb 2022? Or should I resign immediately as soon as I receive my new BRP? My notice period is one month. Answer --> There is no issue if your new employer gets you a new visa while you are workin...
