Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Sent FOI application and found this one in acknowledgement. Our colleagues who process the citizenship/naturalisation applications have informed us that the increased volume of correspondence they receive in relation to applications has had a significant impact on the time line for processing a sta...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Guys just relax. There is almost no one that has been approved that applied after June 2021. If u follow closely approvals are for all applicants until May. I saw one for Nov and one who applied in 2022. But there is a lot of people in the 2021 thread who have not had approvals , nor a vetting. I f...

Re: Statutory Application Fee - Bank Draft Query for Ireland Naturalization

Okay, thank you for the response. I read online in some pages they mentioned it expires in 6 months. So then it should be fine for the application. Naturalization form specially mentions to pay €175 by bank draft and not postal order bcs. postal orders expires after 6 months. Just go to a bank that...

Re: important info about my e-vetting

Im more of a play it safe person, so if I were you I would write a cover letter about it, include a remorse letter and also show the proof or payment for the speed ticket. Disclosing it is better than not disclosing if you ask me, as we don’t know the results of eVetting and what it can show about y...

Re: Incorrect arrival stamp by immigration officer

That’s a funny one for sure. You don’t have to type in dates of your entry/leave to naturalization calculator. Only the dates of your immigration stamps which is related with your IRP card. I am sure there was an email for border police in Dublin Airport but I couldn’t find it. I found the police st...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Me too april 2021 and no vetting. By the way guys after thinking twice i have decided to leave Ireland after living here for like 15 years. Next year if the minister decides my application or not i am leaving anyway. Main reason for this is cost of living, skyrocketing rents and almost 70 to 80 per...

Re: Applying for Irish Visa from UK (Overstayer)

No snarky comments as you requested. UK and Irish authorities share information for visa etc. And you will have to declare that you are overstayer in UK. It's been some time since I applied for UK visa but you have to mention your current residence permit and show proof of it when you apply for any ...

just like mentioned earlier, mine got completed today (after 10 days) and got "disclosure viewed" 20 minutes after completion. So I believe the timeline is mostly automatic as it's weird it takes 10 days for everyone exactly.

You need to go to Garda and file a report for lost IRP card in any case. Did you do that?

Only number you will need is registration number which is written at the backside of your current IRP card. Person ID and probably Application ID (I am not sure about this one) is not relevant for your case.

Re: Dec 2022 ceremony to and from

To organise time off work and set up travel or hotel booking, people definitely need more than 2 -3 Weeks. Killarney is not a short journey for most and it is December so Stormy windy and rainy weather and No one wants to miss that ceremony. I think you can email INIS and ask them about the invite ...

Just wondering, can you see/download your eVetting results once it's completed? Or can it be only seen by ISD? No particular reason to see it myself but just wondered.

Re: For those approved for citizenship, when do you handover your GNIB card?

Im still not sure if they really ask for your IRP card back as it was discussed before and was told that Irish travel document (that is needed to be returned) means travel document issued by Ireland for people that has no valid passport and doesn't indicate IRP. But this is just what I remember, if ...

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

Good analysis, its not entirely correct i am afraid. I applied in april 2021, no vetting received yet. 23 months response replied to my email which i wrote in the month of August. Case is very straightforward. 5 years non eu stamp4. Stamp4 valid for the next 10 years. No convictions. Ouch, now I lo...
