I got the letter and posted it on same day. The letter got delivered today and I just got the eVetting online form. So it's just in 1 day.

Current account is where you lodge and spend your daily money. Having students account or basic account is same as having current account.

You need to provide your financial transactions from an Irish Bank for 6 months in a year. You can just print out the statements from AIB.

Just got eVetting paper form and filled it and sent back. Interesting thing is, the letter from Justice Department was dated from 9th of October, which means they work even on Sunday. I wasn’t expecting anyone to sign some papers on Sunday. Looks like they are working everyday now.

Check the version of the form you print/got before you start to fill it in. irishimmigration.ie has the up to date version all the time (while citizen information website had outdated form).
