Re: sending application without the 150 points required?

There was a question to minister about current scoreboard being not clear and she answered as "at the end of the March we will update the table to include more proof options and bring more clarity". So based on her answer we can assume the scoreboard approach will stay but they will includ...

Re: From when reckonable residence starts ? Stamp 1 Approval letter or GNIB card issue date?

Hello people again, just a quick question: From when reckonable residence starts counting? From stamp 1 approval letter or first GNIB Card (Stamp 1 of course) issue date? Let's say I got my approval letter in July 2020, and did renew received my GNIB Card in September 2020. Thank you very much :) R...

Re: Job in another country after naturalization

The only challenge with the form is getting it signed every year by some authority, like from embassy or smth. Apart from that it's 2 pages long simple form that asks for your naturalization details and your current address.

Re: Job in another country after naturalization

That is applicable for naturalized Irish citizen. On the relevant page it lists few conditions for your citizenship to get revoked and one of them is this one, if you don't let State know for 7 years by each year sending the form, there is a risk for your citizenship to be revoked. This was discusse...

Re: Maximum gap allowed between jobs for Stamp 4 eligibility

You have to be stamp1 holder 5 years consecutively to get stamp 4. So you need to be employed in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 to get stamp 4 in 2022.

Re: Citizenship Applications statistics and timelines

6-9 months is not close to reality at this point (for 2021 applicants). People applied in Feb-March 2021 just got their e-vetting done, so that’s 12 months. For people applied in late 2021 (like November) they didn’t even got their acknowledgement letter. With full positivity it takes 5 months to ge...

Re: Changing Employer during Stamp 4 application

You need to have Stamp 4 to be able to work without work permit. So when you start with your new employer you should have valid IRP with Stamp 4 on it, which grants you to work with any employer. Your employer will ask to see your IRP before they hire you, if you can't show them a IRP card with Stam...

You need to have physical IRP card that says Stamp 4 on it to be considered as Stamp 4 holder, till then whatever is written on your IRP card shows your current permission

Re: BRP to IRP is it possible?

You shouldn’t need an Irish bank account for your Irish customers, that doesn’t really make sense. You can use any bank account in SEPA zone for accepting payments from EU customers. You can easily get an account using Revolut or N26. Or use Transferwise to open a bank account. To open an Irish bank...

Re: Sorry but again GAP issues between renewals...

First of all, the logic “I came to Ireland in September 2020 so I can apply in September 2025” is flawed. There are certain residence day requirement you need to meet apart from other rules and conditions you need to meet. Also, you don’t have to apply next day after you complete your 5 years reside...

Re: How many days in a year can I be outside Ireland if I am trying for Stamp 4 & Citizenship?

1-) You should be working in Ireland for 21 months continously, which means you shouldn't be unemployed. You are allowed to leave country up to 6 weeks but not allowed to be unemployed or you can't get that support letter. 2-) You are allowed to leave country 6 weeks for each year without an issue. ...

Re: Transiting through UK with Irish Stamp 4 visa

Let me just add to my last comment as I'm no longer able to edit it. I assume you have an IRP, not a GNIB, so you fulfil TWOW 3(h), which is (h) hold a valid common format residence permit issued by an EEA state (pursuant to Council Regulation (EC) No. 1030/2002) or Switzerland; If you have any iss...

Re: Transiting through UK with Irish Stamp 4 visa

If you are transiting thru UK by air you are allowed to stay in UK for 24 hours for transit purposes. You can travel between airports inside UK or stay in same airport and go to your final destination. The problem is, who you deal with. Some Ryanair stuff doesn’t care at all, some is super rude as i...

Just to add, not objecting your case or anything. You are not considered Irish Citizen just with Naturalization Certificate. To be considered Irish Citizen, you need ID card/passport, and passport office is the one issuing this document to you.

I checked the new form8 and it asks for who certified those pages, so there is commissioner of oath, solicitor etc. So it doesn't have to be solicitor I believe so. Commissioner of oath has 10 euro per page price and there is a maximum fee they can charge, of course they can charge extra for transpo...

Is it still possible to apply for visa from outside of Ireland for entry purposes? As in you traveled to your home country and apply for a visa from there if your IRP is expired meanwhile.

Travelling while auto extended IRP

INIS had auto extended current IRP validity till the end of the May 2022, just wondering, if your IRP card expires can you still enter back to Ireland till May 2022 or do you need to apply for visa if your card is expired? IRP owner is adult.

Re: 6 weeks away after submitting application

I would like to chime in with my 2 cents here. I think “in a year” term is being exaggerated. ISD website doesn’t contain any term as “fiscal” or not it just says “notify if you are away for more than 6 weeks in a year”. No fiscal, no calendar year, nothing. We are making this a big issue. Besides, ...

You get form by post first, you fill it, send it back, then you get eVetting link to your email address. So you have to sign physically some privacy etc text to proceed with eVetting.
