Re: UK Spouse Visa

Thank you. Hi, just finishing the form and it’s just asking for the following information. It’s not asking for my payslips and bank statements which seems really weird. We’re going to provide them of course but it just asks for these at the end of the form. We went back to see if we made any mistake...

Re: UK Spouse Visa

So we went ahead and cancelled. No appointments booked. So we just just start a new one now? And should we mention that we cancelled the first one and the reason in the new application?

Re: UK Spouse Visa

I think I’ve made a big mistake.mwhen did the application form online and paid on the 20th Jan. But my latest payslip on the 21st of Jan and bank statement on the 22nd. I just knew the oldest document had to be within 28 days. I’m worried they will fail us because I’ve just read it documents can be ...

Re: UK Spouse Visa

Thank you Amazonian. My latest payslip was from yesterday. If I provide payslips from January 2021 to January 2022 that’s 13. Or should I just give from February 2021 to January 2022 to make it 12?

Re: UK Spouse Visa

Hi thank you. I’m about apply, my last payslip was from 21st December 2021. I heard something about the last payslip can’t be more 28 days old is that true? Also I was told not to user a highlighter on bank statements but how can I make it easier for the ECO, use a pencil?

Thank you Amazonian and Tod.

My wife recently updated passport. The thing is, the old one has all travel history and stamps etc, should we just include this in extra information?

Re: UK Spouse Visa

Can I go to VFS and scan my documents in the UK and my wife scan her documents at VFS in her country? I was thinking of sending my documents to her by Fedex actually to make it simple. I don’t have a scanner and the scanner apps on phones don’t work well.

Re: UK Spouse Visa

Thank you. Also in August my company made a mistake and underpaid me by 80 pounds, they paid me it the next 2 days and shows in my statements and payslips. Should I get a letter from payroll to confirm this? Or can I just add it to extra information and highlight it on the bank statement and payslips?

Re: UK Spouse Visa

Thank you TODMATT. I just got my bank statements today and got every page stamped but the stamp is a bit faded at the bottom, guess they were running out of ink. For example if the branch of the bank was “Orange Street” it’s hard to see. Everything else is clear though, like date, sort code and bank...

Re: UK Spouse Visa

I’m afraid I started earning above the requirement from June 2020. So I’m going to have to somehow try to get them to write how long I’ve been getting my current amount? Thank you for your useful and kind input.

Re: UK Spouse Visa

Can I please get your guidance on the employer letter. It says that it should include how long I’ve been getting that salary but my company won’t include and said they can only provide this letter. I’ve attached it. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/688458076797403169/927210811741593620/3D21198...

When submitting documents is it better that I go to VFS in the Uk, what do we do? Do you know the process, for example pay a fee and then the staff help? Does anyone have this experience to share it please?
Best is to upload the documents online yourself if you are able to.
Thank you.

Thanks, I have those. I just didn’t know whether to include the credit card statements from those transactions too. Also my middle name is not included in my payslips, just first name and surname. Not sure if that’s a problem?

Re: UK Spouse Visa

I have a previous marriage from a few years ago and I got divorced. I’m the sponsor, do I still need to provide the divorce paper from my previous marriage? She was from the same country, I hope it won’t have an impact. Quite a bit worried about it.

UK Spouse Visa

Hi, thank you for the great answers I got before. I am getting a little stressed as there is still plenty more things I need to prepare and ask. I don’t want to make multiple threads. So maybe I can ask things here? One question I had today was, what is the best way to provide the documents. I’m the...
