Thanks bototo, prettypolitical :-) I have finally spoken to the Immigration Advisory Service in pakistan, they have two services, full legal advice and they can write a cover letter on their letterhead ... the fee diff is huge .. first one is 2000 rs, other is 15,000 .. does anyone know the diff bet...

you sent him 1,000,000 rupees for travelling costs??? thats about £10,000!!......what were you planning to do, hire the whole aircraft??? i'm not suprised the ECO raised his eyebrows....if you are paying travelling costs for mother father and sister, this would be about £2,500 maximum in air tick...
