When we got birth certificate from the council, we also asked for certified copies of birth certificate. Im attaching both with oci application.

I attached same for my son's oci application 5 years ago and they accepted it.

Did you supply indian marriage certificate ?? Yes without getting it attested?? Yes And is your wife on a dependent visa ? Yes and not working? Nopes, Shes working at the moment And what did you do with the hotel booking? I did booking from venere.com and just presented confirmation email printout....

I got schengen visa for me & my wife on 4th May from french embassy and i DID supply our Indian marriage certificate along with my application

Find out popular recruiting agencies in ur field , get an appointment. Meet agent , talk to him/her .Get advice from them.

When i called up VFS call center, cust-service lady told that fee (tier 1 dependent visa under transitional arrangement ) would be 16000 INR

I dont even know how & where does she manged to invent that figure from

speechless

Just recd my passport back with 3 yrs visa.I had applied with hsmp approval letter and bank statement showing 800 GBP for 1 month

Applied on : 7th May 2008
Recd by HO on : 8th May 2008
Passport Recd : Today (11 June 2008)
Passport was stamped on 5 th June 2008
