In-Country PBS Dependant Child visa MASSIVE delays

Applied for child’s PBS dependant visa on 27th June. Biometrics at Manchester on 30th June. Still waiting on a decision. Re: Spelling mistake in dependent visa vignette is noticed after 4 months

Dear all, I have a Tier 2 visa and my wife got her PBS dependent visa in June 2022. She came to the UK in the beginning of June and got her BRP with no problems. We have just noticed that there is a minor spelling mistake regarding my name in her visa vignette. It should have been "C Smith&quo...

Re: Newborn UK - Silled worker dependent- apply from Home country

You can do this if your baby has a passport from your home country or your home country will accept a national identity card for the baby to enter visa-free.
You will then have to wait in your home country until your baby’s visa arrives before they are allowed to enter the UK.

Note that latest trends are showing not every applicant is receiving decision made/visa issued email from embassy. Two cases in the last week including myself on visa timeline thread where no decision made/visa issued email was received, so you may receive passport collection email directly.

I have just received the passport collection email today, but received no “visa decision made” email from the embassy. Checked spam folder as well.

Applied on 29th Dec. Will update on the timeline thread after collecting passports.

The VFS centre will not accept any applicants for biometric enrolment without an appointment, unless it specifically says on the VAC info that the centre accepts walk-in appointments, which hardly any do. Sometimes earlier appointment slots become available if you refresh and keep checking after mid...
