Thanks, I haven't applied yet - are you still waiting to get yours back?

I'll get a tax summary then - did you request it directly from the IRD?

A qestion regarding the proof of income: They request tax return and payslips. I've been away from NZ for most of the last 4 years - AFAIK we do not do a tax return in NZ - I don't even think there are any forms they send out? What have others done here? provided a suitable explanation? (like what?)...

EC under HSMP rules or Tier 1 rules?

If I apply for and get an HSMP letter befoer the cutoff date, will I be assessed under the HSMP EC maintenance rules regardless of when I apply, or will it be under the HSMP rules until the cutoff date, then Tier 1 rules after that?

I am applying from NZ.

Thanks

isnt the above notes for the New HSMP Tier 1 applications tho.. my friends back home in NZ have less than 2800GBP in their accounts (in NZ dollars) and have had their EC approved within the last month. I think if you have at least $5000NZD and details about how you are going to look for work, accom...

so 2800 for 3 months under the current rules, and still the same if applying from NZ under the new rules, in effect around June.

However, aren't people on this board applying from India under the new rules talking about it being 800? Why wouldn't we get the same conditions?

I noticed in the EC docs they say to send in current and all previoous passports - does anyone know the implications of not sending in one of my passports?(I have had 3)

I can't locate it, and it would probably be better if they didn't see it anyway...

Hi hsmpkiwi2 Under the new rules, the maintenance requirements are $2,800 GBP for those applying outside the UK and you need to maintain this amount for at least 3 months before applying for the EC. But i think in NZ, we are still considered under the old EC rules until June08 where the new rules w...

I have usually (though not absolutely always) been checked on Eurostar by British or French immigration? When it was at Waterloo, the checks (in waterloo, before boarding the train) were for french immigration - there was no desks or counters where british immigration could have been even if they w...

EC - previous time in UK & NI number

I am looking at getting an HSMP in a couple of months. I have previously lived in the UK on a working holiday visa. I did not obtain a NI number, however I did pay tax for 6 months during the time that I was there. Is this going to have any bearing on me obtaining EC, ie: will they request my NI num...
